You must make sure to protect your cables. There are many ways to do so and you don't have to blow the budget to do it.
You can you IGUS cable tray, split loom, spiral wrap, expanding mesh, pneumatic tubing or a even a garden hose.
Just make sure you do it. You will want to keep debris from getting into your wires. This is especially important if you will
be cutting any type of metal. Metal shavings in a bundle of wires moving back and forth is a recipe for a short.
The IGUS cable chains I have on my CNC came from Ebay. If you want to use something like that and are looking on Ebay, be
sure that the listing you try to buy has the chain end brackets included so you can easily mount the chains to your CNC.
