Limit switches or sensors serve a vital role in your CNC machine. They allow the machine to have some awareness.
With the switches or sensors in place, the machine will be able to stop before it does harm to itself or allow an
axis to over travel. It Will also be able to "Home" itself. Resetting itself to a default or "zero" position. This "home"
position is usually repeatable.
